World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your items is a vital part of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and enhancements of items.
They also offer rewards and upgrades. item level up are available from the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is located on any item. Every recycled item adds one level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When an item is upgraded, it will gain a base damage bonus and an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components have cosmetic effects and others provide additional benefits. These upgrades can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools, and most require that the equipment have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain specifications. Upgrade components can be retrieved by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-tier salvage tool on the item itself.
In addition to the standard upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded with a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This can be done via the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon the process can be repeated up to four times.
When the weapon is at maximum upgrade, it can be reforged with a number of different upgrade types to improve specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. A variety of these upgrades can be used simultaneously, and the effects are based on the nature of the weapon.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that weapons deal and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this players must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations has a powerful fair who can change the quality of an item of armor for you.
Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not in any way useless. Certain armors give a substantial boost in the reduction of damage from poison or curse, magic or fire. Potion
